Raquel Paz Bergia

Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Neuroscience researcher, author, TEDx speaker, and founder of Unwiring Minds, Raquel is innovative and entrepreneurial, bridging her passion for neurodegeneration and engineering. She is advancing her career as a Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Texas at Austin. She is very passionate about the way the brain connects with the rest of the body, particularly for movement. She founded Unwiring Minds to help people have accessible information about the brain from international perspectives. Her dream is to have a lab that focuses on biotechnological tools to help prevent and treat Parkinson’s Disease.

Konstantin Minaev

Director of Social Awareness

Konstantin is a student at Pepperdine University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He has a wide variety of hobbies, such as piano, tennis, and learning languages. Additionally, he has a deep interest in Psychology and Neurology. Having studied and constantly read about the perspective of Positive Psychology and its power to benefit all of humanity, by emphasizing character strengths, he believes that it is very important to work as a community and spread awareness about neurological and psychological disorders.

Berkeley Fitzpatrick

Director of Outreach and Operations | Podcast Manager

Berkeley is a student preparing to pursue the pre-med path in the future. While her primary interest is Pediatric Oncology, she has developed an interest in psychology and neurology after taking several psychology courses. As such, she joined Unwiring Minds to pursue these passions further, and she hopes to help others become more aware of the importance of these fields due to the ongoing relevance of mental health in today’s world. When she is not studying, Berkeley is an avid reader and writer, a debater, a MUN delegate, a ballerina, and a martial artist.

Ashley Chen

Director of Research

Ashley is a student who is very interested in and passionate about criminal psychology, as well as psychology in general. She finds interest and passion in being able to understand and help people who are suffering from mental illnesses and disabilities. She hopes to be a part of the Behavioral Analysis Unit of the FBI in the future, combining a strong sense of justice with her love for psychology.
